Not every ABS fault is a cheap wheel-speed sensor — sometimes it's the ABS hydraulic pump/control module itself. Telling them apart saves you from either overpaying (a pump for a sensor) or chasing sensors when the module's dead. I read the codes and the symptom pattern.
